Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups and 5 Tbsp butter (used for the first, third, and fourth layers)1 cup cocoa2 cups sugar4 eggs1 cup flour1 Tbsp vanillaminiature M&M's1 pkg caramelsa little more than 1 Tbsp Pet or Eagle brand milk2 Tbsp light Karo syrup1 cup chocolate chips | Steps: 1st Layer:Melt 1 1/4 cup butter.Mix in cocoa and sugar.Beat in eggs, one at a time.Mix in flour and vanilla.Bake approximately 18-20 min in a greased 9x13 pan in 350 deg. oven.Will be a little jiggly.2nd Layer:Spread plain miniature M&M's over baked brownies.3rd Layer:In microwave or on stove over low heat, melt caramels, 1/4 cup butter, and a little Pet or Eagle Brand milk.Pour over M&M's and spread.4th Layer:5 Tbsp butter (melted), Karo syrup, 1 Tbsp Pet or Eagle Brand milk.Bring to a boil, remove from heat.Mix in chocolate chips.Stir until smooth.Pour & spread over caramels.Cool in refrigerator completely before cutting.Keep refrigerated or they get gooey.Can be frozen for months, also kept in frig. for a long time. HINT-Layers do not have to be cooled before adding the next layer. |
