1 1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
dash of salt and pepper
1/2 c. plus flour
Beat eggs, add milk, baking powder, salt and pepper - mix in bowl.
Add 1/2 cup of flour, mix add enough flour to make the batter thick.
Drop in boiling soup by teaspoons full.
Before adding dumplings make sure your spoon has been dipped into the soup.
