Ingredients:
  • 2 TBLS Olive Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion Minced
  • 8 OZ. Raw Bacon Diced (smokey if you can find it)
  • 2 LBS Ground Beef (lean)
  • 6 OZ. Cheddar Cheese (Grated NOT Shredded)
  • 1/3 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 3 eggs Slightly Beaten
  • 2 Tsp Salt

  • Steps:
  • Preheat Over to 450
  • Brush 13 x 9 baking dish with 1 TBLS Olive Oil
  • Heat Remaining Olive Oil in pan till hot.
  • Add Bacon & Onions and Saute until Golden Brown (About 10 minutes)
  • Using Slotted spoon remove Bacon and Onions and transfer to plate. And Let Cool.
  • In Large Bowl (the larger the better) Mix by hand Bacon, Onions and the rest of the ingredients.
  • Roll into Golf Ball size balls making sure they are tight.
  • Roast until cooked through (18 to 20 minutes)
  • Let Cool before serving or Freeze.
