1-1/4 Cups Boiling water
1 Cup Quick-cooking Oats
1 Stick Margarine Or Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
2 Eggs (beaten)
1 Tsp Vanilla
1-1/3 Cups Sifted Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Cinnamon
TOPPING (Have Ready when Cake is done)
1 Stick Margarine or Butter
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
3 TBLS Milk
1 Cup Coconut
3/4 Cup Chopped Pecans. Add more its ok. Chop them fine!!
Steps:
Pour boiling water over oats and margarine/butter
Let stand 20 Minutes.
Stir in 1 Cup Brown Sugar, 1 Cup White Sugar, 2 eggs beaten, Vanilla, Baking soda, Cinnamon and Flour.
Mix well and pour into greased & Floured 9x12x2 pan (Or 9x13)
Bake at 350 Degrees for 30 Minutes or until done.
TOPPING Have ready when cake is done!
Melt Margarine.
Stir in Brown Sugar, Milk, Coconut and Pecans.
Put on cake and Broil until Light Brown.
