Ingredients:
  • 1-1/4 Cups Boiling water
  • 1 Cup Quick-cooking Oats
  • 1 Stick Margarine Or Butter
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1-1/3 Cups Sifted Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • TOPPING (Have Ready when Cake is done)
  • 1 Stick Margarine or Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 TBLS Milk
  • 1 Cup Coconut
  • 3/4 Cup Chopped Pecans. Add more its ok. Chop them fine!!

  • Steps:
  • Pour boiling water over oats and margarine/butter
  • Let stand 20 Minutes.
  • Stir in 1 Cup Brown Sugar, 1 Cup White Sugar, 2 eggs beaten, Vanilla, Baking soda, Cinnamon and Flour.
  • Mix well and pour into greased & Floured 9x12x2 pan (Or 9x13)
  • Bake at 350 Degrees for 30 Minutes or until done.


  • TOPPING Have ready when cake is done!
  • Melt Margarine.
  • Stir in Brown Sugar, Milk, Coconut and Pecans.
  • Put on cake and Broil until Light Brown.
