Sausage Stars
Ethnicity:Spanish     Food Type:Appetizers
Preparation Time:30     Servings:20
Author: Patty Phillips   Email
Ingredients:
  • 1-Package Wontons
  • 1-Pound Jimmy Dean Sausage OR 1 Pound Zup's Bulk Hot Italian Sausage!
  • 1-1/2 CUPS Shredded Jack Cheese
  • 1-1/2 CUPS Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 CUP Original Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing
  • Chopped Black Olives (Optional)

  • Steps:
  • Press Wanton Wrappers in muffin tins sprayed with Pam to make little cups.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Watch these as they get brown easily and you don't want to burn them and have to send husband to store last minute for more!!
  • Cook Sausage and crumble into small pieces.
  • Dab out grease with a paper towel and let it cool a bit.
  • Mix rest of Ingredients with Sausage.
  • Keep filling in Frige until serving time.
  • Put a teaspoon of filling in each of the baked shells.
  • NOTE: Heat a plate full of filling in microwave on high for one minute to heat up.
  • NOTE: If you don't care if they are hot or not you can bake a tray full in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Not really advisable as they are better hot!
