1 1/2 cups and 5 Tbsp butter (used for the first, third, and fourth layers)
1 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
1 cup flour
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 pkg caramels
a little more than 1 Tbsp Pet or Eagle brand milk
2 Tbsp light Karo syrup
1 cup chocolate chips
Melt 1 1/4 cup butter.
Mix in cocoa and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Mix in flour and vanilla.
Bake approximately 18-20 min in a greased 9x13 pan in 350 deg. oven.
Will be a little jiggly.
Spread plain miniature M&M's over baked brownies.
In microwave or on stove over low heat, melt caramels, 1/4 cup butter, and a little Pet or Eagle Brand milk.
Pour over M&M's and spread.
5 Tbsp butter (melted), Karo syrup, 1 Tbsp Pet or Eagle Brand milk.
Bring to a boil, remove from heat.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Stir until smooth.
Pour & spread over caramels.
Cool in refrigerator completely before cutting.
Keep refrigerated or they get gooey.
Can be frozen for months, also kept in frig. for a long time.
HINT-Layers do not have to be cooled before adding the next layer.
