Ingredients:
  • 1 ( 6oz.) pkg. Semi-sweet chocolate morsels, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp. Orange extract
  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • Sugar for coating

  • Steps:
  • Combine melted chocolate, sugar, corn syrup, water and orange extract in a
  • large bowl.
  • Add vanilla wafers and pecans, mixing well.
  • Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Roll each in sugar.
  • Store in an airtight container at least 2 days before eating.


  • Yield: 3 dz.
  • * For Rum flavored cookies, substitute 1-2Tbsp. rum or 1 tsp. rum extract
  • for the orange extract
