1 pkg. dry yeast
1 and 1/2 cup warm water
3/4-cup sugar
3 tablespoons instant potatoes
1-teaspoon salt
Steps:
Mix yeast and 1/2 cup warm water. Mix the other cup of water, sugar,
potatoes, and salt. Add the potato mixture to the yeast mixture and
let stand for 2 days. On the third day feed the starter with 3/4 cup
of sugar, 3 tablespoons instant potatoes and 1 cup warm water. Leave
out for 8 to 12 hours. Stir and take out 1 cup to make bread. Return
starter to refrigerator and feed again in 3-5 days.
