56K & V.90 DIALUP
ACCESS
Rangenet offers State-of-the-art V.90 56K access, and 56K Flex
Support. This Allows you to connect to us up to approximately %60 faster
if you own a 56K Flex or V.90 modem. Here are the details!
V.90 STANDARD
V.90 is the new standard for 56K modems. Almost all 56K
modems have a free software upgrade that you can perform to update either
a 56K Flex, or a 56K X2 to the V.90 Standard. Once you do this,
you should see a big improvement in connection speed. We cannot
guarantee a "big" speed increase, as your connection speed relies on a
number of factors.

1. Your distance from virginia
2. Your indoor phone wiring (older houses connect slower)
3. Cordless phones, bad phones on you phone line.
4. Outside wiring, your house to the phone company.
5. Modem brand/quality/V.90 version
6. Notice! make sure you are dialing in on the 56K phone line!
