Before anything else: On behalf of the Rangenet team, we want to take this opportunity to send out a huge Thank You for being a loyal customer of Rangenet. Together, we've watched the internet evolve into a universal way of communicating with just about everyone. And now, we're excited to announce the next step in our Internet journey:
Rangenet has become a part of Minnesota-based Internet Provider, Advanced Integrated Technologies.
This is big news for Rangenet, and our valued customers. We've put together answers to some questions you might have...
Who is Advanced Integrated Technologies?
Since 1993, Advanced Integrated Technologies ("AITech" for short) has been a Minnesota-owned provider of Long Distance, Wireless, and Internet services for both home and business users.
How do you pronounce AITech?
Why did Rangenet become a part of AITech?
As many of you know, Rangenet's founder: John Gobats passed away last August. John enjoyed playing a key role in Rangenet's daily operations and provided our customers with great personal service. We wanted to make sure we were able to continue his spirit of personal attention and Minnesota values. AITech shares that same vision with it's own customers today, and looks forward to continuing to serve both customer groups together.
Is my service going to change?
Nope! All of your Rangenet services will continue to work just as they always have. Your bill will look a little different, but the service will stay the same without any changes.
Who do I contact to for help or questions?
We will continue to use the same phone number and email addresses. You can give us a call at (218) 741-5025, or send an email to either email@example.com for service-related trouble and questions, or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any billing or account-related questions.
What's in store for the future?
Local Dial-Up Internet Access continues to be a core piece of our business. We were one of the first to offer 56k connections, and we will continue to provide this essential service with local numbers across the United States to our customers that rely on it.
E-mail is also one of the most important services we provide to our customers. We have plans to continue offering our customers advanced junk mail filtering, and we're also working to improve the web email interface.
Of course, all of AITech's services will be available to Rangenet customers as well-- including competitive long distance rates, and wireless service from Verizon.

The new mailing address for payments and account-related items is:

(But don't worry if you already sent something to the old Duluth address-- we'll still get it)
